Air Medical Charters is an advanced life support Miami air ambulance service. Our medical crew provides full service medical air transport for adult critical care, pediatric critical care, maternal and neonatal patients. We are committed to providing the highest level of care and expedient patient transports for the Caribbean, Central America and South America. Air Medical Charters is a physician owned and operated full service Miami air ambulance transportation provider.

Each Miami air ambulance flight is prepped and staffed with the equipment and crew designed to meet the patient's personal and specific needs. The experienced flight medical crew is made up of highly trained medical professionals - physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, respiratory therapists, and paramedics. Each experienced crew member has complimented their superior medical skills with constant and updated specialized training in flight physiology and flight transport. The Miami air ambulance crew maintains a high level of respect and personal care to each of their patients and family members. In support of each air crew, throughout the entire flight, is a specialized physician.

Air Medical Charters has a fully dedicated, Miami air ambulance, Learjet 55-ER. The air ambulance is fully outfitted with state of the art systems capable of allowing an ICU level of in flight care while maintaining first class comfort. The Miami air ambulance, with its modern avionics and extended range capabilities offer swift, accurate and safe transport for the patient, one accompanying family member, and the in flight medical team. The Learjet's cabin space is large enough for the passengers to stand and stretch (and offers a private lavatory).The Air Medical Charters air ambulance is piloted by two seasoned and extensively trained pilots, dedicated only to this air ambulance.

It is important to us that the patient has everything needed, including the comfort of family. Whenever possible, one family member may accompany the patient, except when the medical director or crew withdraws permission for safety reasons. There are no additional costs to the family member. However, the family member shall provide Air Medical Charters with his/her full name, relation to the patient, date of birth, and nationality. In instances of international travel, Air Medical Charters requires a valid passport and any other applicable visa or other travel permission. Due to weight and storage limitations, the passenger's luggage is limited to two carry-on sized bags. Air Medical Charters will provide the highest level of care for our patients.

This not only includes during the air ambulance transport, but also once the patient and family arrives at their destination. We can make arrangements for the patient to be admitted to a state of the art hospital and arrange for an experienced and knowledgeable physician to take over medical care of the patient at the new facility. Again, we always keep the patients specific needs in mind making these arrangements. The transition will be smooth due to the extensive planning, preparation, professionalism, and accurate communications. In conjunction with the hospital support services, our staff can also assist the family member with finding a place to stay.
